八零年代的學生聽外語歌以西洋歌曲為主, 台大對面的"玫瑰唱片"早期賣的主要是卡帶, 外語歌用歌手或團體名稱英文字首在架子上歸類.  放學後的玫瑰唱片總是擠滿了中學女生, 在公館換車的景美女中學生, 人多到就像水彩盤上的一大片鵝黃色; 偶見的北一女, 就落單成了一滴顯眼的綠墨點.

如果高中英文老師考句子翻譯, 我會這樣寫:

"趁狀況尚可時, 讓自己不要鑽牛角尖, 別想現在就搞清楚一切; 只要找個地方安頓自己, 然後淡然處之."
